Nicole was in charge of two classes, in which she educated students on the basics of hairstyling, hygiene, bacteriology, and different body types. In 2001, Nicole was approached by a former co-worker (who specialized in aesthetics) and asked to assist in opening and managing a salon. It is a salon that educates the client about hair cuts, colours and styles that will make the ‘morning routine’ much easier. Nicole brings a wealth of expertise to Manzer Hair. She was very motivated and diligent, and her natural flair came through as she won several school competitions. She enjoys all aspects of hairstyling and has a creative flair for up-do’s, and colouring, working with her clients to help them achieve the look they desire. At 17, Nicole began her apprenticeship at a growing studio, where she learned the importance of maintaining strong customer relationships. Rachel keeps up to date with current trends in cutting and colouring by attending hair shows and classes, understanding that education is an important part of being an all-around stylist. Rachel has trained and worked with multiple colour lines and companies such as Wella, Joico, Revlon and Schwarzkopf. After graduating hair school, Rachel got a job at a busy salon in London where she finished her apprenticeship training. By the time Rachel decided to make the move to the big city she was in charge of managing the salon and training new staff. She taught herself to French braid her own hair for skating competitions, and as her ability and skills improved, people started asking her to do their hair for proms, weddings and other special occasions
