The Mayer Institute is a centre of excellence for advanced diabetic foot and wound care.The Mayer Institute’s mission is to provide state of the art care to diabetics, focusing not only on healing wounds, but reducing the risk of amputation in affected people with diabetes with ongoing education and preventative therapy. At TMI, our focus is not only on healing wounds, but reducing the risk of amputation in affected people with diabetes. In 2009, The Mayer Institute has had almost 14,000 patient visits for diabetic foot care with just under 5000 visits being for the treatment of diabetic foot wounds. The Mayer Institute (TMI), is privileged to have a dedicated team of professionals working for the common goal of delivering the utmost care to clients.
