Such an unprofessional business and unprofessional staff. They did not even bother to call me and let me know that they are close on my appointment day. I took an unpaid day off from my work and went to my laser appointment and saw that they are closed due to equipment upgrade. Their voice-mail is always full, you won't be able to reach them. They do not have a clerk at desk to answer the phone calls either. I will never recommend this business. Now I do understand why they are a bit cheaper than other places, CAUSE THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS AT ALL!!

Have been a client for over a year and hadn't had any problems until recently. Went for a scheduled appointment June 23 and found the office closed. Have been trying to call and re-schedule and no one ever picks up the phone and the voicemail is always full. Horrible customer service as of late.

closed down their business, did not call any clients to let them know and did not provide an explanation as to why they closed or when they would reopen. two months later still waiting to hear what is going on and there is no way of getting in touch with them. They are not answering phone calls and their voicemail is full. I have paid for treatments and have not received the service i expected. On top of that, on my second visit there I was burned severely by an untrained staff member that was new. I was told she knew what she doing but clearly she did not. The only reason i stayed is because they gave me a credit for the burning incident and only one staff person there seemed competent enough to do laser treatments so i stayed to see out the one year of treatments i had paid for.

Kudos Avid! You got me! I spent ~$700 on services I will never see. I'm not sure what is posted on the door these days, but I'm pretty sure I know that money was wasted. I doubt a class-action applies here due to the size of the business at hand, but I am not a lawyer and I am not well-versed in such things. I'd love to get compensated in some way though. Considering how busy that place was, and therefore the number of people scammed, I can only imagine that Mike has a hot tub full of money that he sits in daily as he shelters himself from all the complaints and accusations of the outside world. If anyone figures out a way to try to get some money back, please share. I also feel sorry for the nice girls that work there; I hope that they have managed to find work outside of this disaster.

**my ratings reflect the spa when Marcia was there - not since Mike has owned it** Marcia sold the business in its entirety to Mike July 2013. She is a consummate professional. Get your facts straight before you slander someone who is no longer involved with the business. I would imagine Marcia is upset at how Mike destroyed all of her hard work and loyal customer base. I was a client at Avid for years and never had a problem until Marcia left. Once Marcia left, I left as I knew who the problem was - it was entirely Mike's poor customer service & bad attitude that ran this business into the ground.
