I was recently married in Canmore. We found this salon online and decided based on price and the amount of spa services offered it would be the place to book. Where do I begin. The day before the wedding myself and my sister had mani pedis and they were Horrible. She put the polish so thick on my toes it still wasn't dry the next morning and they had to redo it while I had my hair done. Saturday morning was a mess. We got the a 9:30 am a party of 6 people for hair and make up. We were told we would have the salon to ourselves as we had all of the stylists booked. WRONG! They double booked. They had one person who had no idea what she was doing on make up ( so bad I had to put an end to my moms and have some one else finish) There was one lady who was pretty much running around touching up everyone else mistakes all morning. I had to leave my bridal party behind and get ready on my own finally at 12:45 the wedding was at 2pm. My bridesmaids didn't get back to the house until 1:20!!!!! The limo was waiting and the bridesmaids hadn't even come back. Then my veil flew out in the wind on the way there. What an unorganized disaster!

Went here for my sister's & her friend's bridal shower & had a ‘memorable’ experience. First, we were not greeted by any of the staff. Unlike the other customers there, we were not offered drinks & refreshments. Secondly, two massages were shortened to a half hour massage when they were supposed to be 1 hour. When we talked to the masseuse in her shortening of the massages by a large amount she got defensive & came up with an illogical argument. Thirdly, this same worker consistently gave our party attitude. Fourthly, when we were going to go pay we called the manager to discuss with her our disappointment. The manager did not even allow my friend to explain our situation before getting defensive. At the end of the call, she provided her own form of subsidizing by saying we can walk out of the salon without paying for the massages “if we are that type of people”. In the end, we decided to pay what we thought was reasonable. One of my friends was satisfied & paid the full amount. Another two were disappointed & paid half. For the two massages that were cut short & received abysmal service we decided not to pay for those, as the manager DID provide us the invitation to do so. Sixthly, the very sweet receptionist (who I am sorry had to deal with this) wasn’t told by the manager that a bridal shower will be there. Also, the receptionist explained this was her first ever bridal shower & was unsure of what to do - so in other words very poor communication & training from management. Lastly, the next day we received an email from the manager telling us basically how horrible of customers we were. That she provided us a moral choice & we failed. That we caused SO much stress to one of her employees she wants to quit. As well, how her employees will NOT be compensated for the "4 hours" of work they put into us -even tho we were only there from 2-4- because we didn't pay for our massages. I was not going to write an online review, but once my friends & I received that email I changed my mind.

It's always very quiet there. Usually only 1 or 2 staff on, red flag. Some equipment was outdated but not all. Never someone there to greet you at the door. I once went in, waited, and had to make noise before someone trotted out from the back wiping food from their face, talking with their mouth full. There was very little communication, I could barely get a word in edgewise to ask or answer a question, they just went ahead without warning. They did sloppy, rushed work which lead to sub-par results. Probably because I was the last appointment of the day and they wanted to go home. There didn't seem to be a high regard for hygiene by this person. After my appointment they just left my used linens, including wet towels on the treatment bed and locked up and left after I did. The person had no consideration for my privacy, never closing the door completely and even once opened it wide, mid-procedure, to her next client, who was early and calling out to try to find any employee there. And of course, there was no one else working to answer the door. This review pertains to one employee in particular. The only other employee I went to there was a young esthetician who was lovely, a bit inexperienced, not very comfortable, but lovely none the less and did a good job.
