If you think about your foot with an arch, then the distance from the heel to toes will be shorter compared to a foot that has flattened its arches. Generally as you walk and stand on your feet they will flatten thus causes the plantar fascia (rope) to become over-stretched and torn. Over time, custom orthotic support that is prescribed will bring you relief from fatigue and pain, allowing you to enjoy daily activities comfortably. In most situations custom made orthotic will help correct your feet, reducing pain and discomfort by enhancing your body’s natural arches and movements. Orthotic Works are a custom manufacturer of orthotic and medical grade footwear. We are constantly developing new products to add to our line, and new ways to provide the most effective orthotics in the marketplace. Well many of these symptoms are caused by your arches in the foot collapsing as we age thus causing the foot to lengthen. Localized foot pain including; spurs, plantar Fasciitis, neuromas. We not only use state of the art technology to produce our orthotics – we develop it too. All product prototypes are first subject to a rigorous testing schedule, which includes procedures that monitor durability, comfort and effectiveness. Functional / Structural problems including; arch / heel pain, hammer toes, flat feet, shin splints. They have been relieving Foot, knee and back pain around the world since 1976. Orthotics Works provides innovative, comfortable orthotics that are a pleasure to wear as they gently reduce problems associated with pressure points, muscle strain and abnormal forces on the ankles, knees, hips and spine.
